  West Coast Air Chooses TIK Systems' Reservation and Departure Control Systems for Its Airline Operation

Bangkok, June, 2005 - West Coast Air, a domestic carrier offering scheduled services between downtown Vancouver and downtown Victoria, has selected TIK Systems' tikAERO passenger reservation and departure control system.
TIK Systems provides modern technology and advanced business solutions to the airline industry. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

tikAERO breaks with the philosophy of existing mainframe based airline reservation systems. Its innovative system and networking architecture, highly flexible graphical user interface, database design and use of industry standard components provide a highly flexible platform for an airline's operational environment. It is geared to the needs of domestic, regional and low cost carriers.

West Coast Air has opted for tikAERO after a thorough evaluation period. Although tikAERO is a new contender in the market, results have shown that its functionality matches those of the big players, offering a flexible and open system with low total cost of ownership.

About West Coast Air
West Coast Air is a locally owned and operated airline, offering the only Twin Otter float plane service between downtown Vancouver and downtown Victoria. West Coast also has flights between the Vancouver Airport Floatplane Base (YVR) to downtown Victoria. West Coast Air is convenient for both the business and leisure traveller, with up to thirty-two scheduled departures each business day downtown to downtown and six departures each business day from YVR Floatplane base to downtown Victoria.
