SEAPLANE SHUTTLE SERVICE LAUCHED

DESTINATION Air Shuttle will launch regular seaplane shuttle services between Phuket and the Andaman coastal islands in January.

Claiming to be Thailand's only seaplane shuttle service, the company will initially serve Krabi and its islands of Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta, offering 12 flights daily and leaving every two hours from Phuket International Airport. Further landing locations are planned for Similan Archipelago National Park , Koh Racha and Khao Lak.

The company said its seaplane shuttle service would depart from Phuket International Airport and land directly in the waterfront of most major hotel resorts. It said its service would significantly reduce the travel time from the usual half-day overland trip from Phuket to less than 13 minutes to Koh Phi Phi, 20 minutes to Krabi and 30 minutes to Koh Lanta.

Destination Air Shuttle CEO, Captain Nithit Kesangam, said: "This is an outstanding service to hotels and tour operators in the Phuket area. This is a fantastic shot in the arm for hotels and tourists going to Koh Phi Phi, Krabi and Koh Lanta."

TIK SYSTEMS INTRODUCES "tikAERO";
I.T. TOOL DEDICATED TO LOW-COST AIRLINES

BANGKOK (11 JANUARY 2006)--TIK Systems, a leading high-tech service provider to the global airline industry, today introduced one of the world's first integrated passenger reservation and airport departure control tools tailored to the needs of low-cost carriers, regional airlines and new entrants.

The system, "tikAERO," is designed to provide maximum flexibility and functionality at a cost well within the operating budgets of smaller carriers and new entrants. Using tikAERO, airlines can efficiently manage flight planning, departure control schedules, reservations, ticketing, check-in, fare and revenue management and customer service all from a web-enabled platform. tikAERO's unique system architecture enables users to pick and choose among its various modules, or select tikAERO's robust end-to-end solution to manage all aspects of their operations.

"The unprecedented challenges facing the world's airlines demand automated solutions that are as powerful as they are economical. This is especially true for smaller, low-cost airlines that must meet customer requirements, gain access to real-time data for reporting and decision making and execute a cost-effective business model on limited I.T. budgets," said Roland Heller, Managing Director of TIK Systems. "We developed tikAERO to deliver network carrier capabilities at a price that even the lowest-cost carrier can afford."

tikAERO breaks with the philosophy of legacy mainframe-based airline reservation systems by offering a modular, scalable platform to support a low-cost airline's dynamic operational environment, Heller said.

"tikAERO is more than an e-booking and check-in system," said Heller. "It also provides integrated yield management functions, revenue accounting and flight planning applications. It was conceived to serve as a strategic and tactical tool for low-cost carriers and regional airlines by combining the benefits of global distribution with full control over the airline's data. All operating information is shared on the network and easily accessible by any application or user on a scalable and robust platform."
