Mercator and TIK Systems partner to offer competitive Passenger Management Solutions to regional, hybrid and low cost Airlines

Dubai and Bangkok, 15 October 2008: Mercator, the airline IT solutions provider of the Emirates Group and a global leader in technology solutions for the airline and tourism industry, has signed a partnership agreement with TIK Systems, to offer enhanced passenger service & distribution solutions to regional, hybrid and low cost airlines worldwide.

The partnership responds to the need of these airlines for a passenger service solution that is tailored specifically to their needs and resources and easily adaptable to market and passenger demands. The package offered by TIK Systems and Mercator includes a modern end-to-end customer-centric airline management solution, tikAERO, developed by TIK Systems, including web booking engines for consumers, travel agencies, corporate accounts and mobile devices as well as direct Type A connectivity with all major GDS including IATA e-ticketing.

tikAERO, which is currently used by 17 airlines around the globe, has been specifically designed to suit hybrid environments and can be deployed much easier and faster than legacy passenger service solutions. It integrates key functionality to efficiently manage airline passenger services. This includes applications for inventory management, multi-channel reservation, yield and revenue management, departure control, weight and balance, electronic ticketing, revenue accounting, code-share, interlining, crew management and real-time reporting to monitor business operations.

New Generation Airline Management Solution Providing Competitive Edge Solutions

Jakarta, 1 September, 2008 Airline Management Solution, tikAERO, will provide Citilink, a Garuda subsidiary, with various web-based passenger services to enhance Citilinks relaunch operations in September 2008.

tikAERO, owned by Bangkok-based Airline IT specialist TIK Systems, offers application that is innovative, fully e-business enabled which will allow Citilink to book seats and receive payments via their Website. It will be possible for Citilink to offer its guests other features such as SMS booking and web and SMS check in.

With tikAERO, Citilink will be able to manage crew and flight operations and do vital management reporting in real-time on operational and financial performance. tikAERO also provides a customer relation management system in order to establish and maintain a loyal customer base and frequent traveller programs.
