tikTRAVELOFFICE

tikTRAVELOFFICE is a software product created exclusively for the travel industry by software specialists with long experience actually creating software applications that interoperate with the business process, CRS and workflow applications of the travel industry.

All modules are highly integrated into a system that enables high utilization of up to date information and provides an abundance of data elements for interface creation. Accounting requirements are strongly supported with interfaces generated by tikTRAVELOFFICE to financial accounting, accounts receivables and payables, cost centers and cost objects as well as interfaces from accounting such as customer payments that are read into tikSALES. Multi country support for processing input and output VAT is included.

tikTRAVELOFFICE was built as a platform using the most modern technology that is strongly based on industry standards. The database system of our customers can be used in most cases provided that it is an industry standard system.

Our experience in developing software for large enterprise customers has shown the importance of network performance. The process of exchanging data between clients and servers is very carefully considered and robust performance is assured because our network experience is baked into the fundamental software design and not sprinkled on as an afterthought.

General
A complete understanding and careful analysis of travel related business processes is one of the most important aspects in creating the great software required by our customers. Our actual experience in designing, implementing and supporting Traviswiss allows the design philosophy and business processes most requested by our customers to be integrated into tikTRAVELOFFICE. This means that there is continuity for the user that helps ease the transition to tikTRAVELOFFICE and reduces the training cycle time and the overhead of help desk support.

Another very important aspect in the design of complex systems is making sure that the functions and naming conventions are consistent throughout the system. Intuitive and instant comprehension of the tasks to be performed by the user must be assured and backed up by a powerful help system.

Architecture
tikTRAVELOFFICE software is built in modules that can be configured and installed in practical ways. The modules are logically linked and use common databases and tables. Data generated in one module is immediately available to other modules for further processing. This data can be accessed from within the system or selected information can be accessed via internet or intranet such as checking the status of reservations, travel advances or submitting expense reports.

Environment
tikTRAVELOFFICE is based on the Microsoft Windows 2003 platform and the associated guidelines and standards of Microsoft. Focusing on a single platform allows a high performance enterprise class solution to be created with high availability, network reliability and the lowest TCO total cost of ownership.
